Cesar Dog Food Recalled!
Mars Petcare is doing a voluntary recall of a number of lots of Cesar Filet Mignon Flavor wet dog food products. Small bits of plastic entered the dog food during the manufacturing process. They may pose a choking hazard for your dog.
Cesar Classics Filet Mignon are sold in individual bowl style packages as well as in multipacks containing a variety of flavors. All affected lots can be identified by the Lot Code and Best Before Dated printed on the side of the package. See photo below.

For individual packages of Cesar Classics Filet Mignon Flavor dog food:
The lot codes on the side of the bowl will begin with 631FKKC or 631GKKC and the best before dates will be either 08/04/18 or 08/05/18.

We encourage consumers who have purchased affected product to discard the food or return it to the retailer for a full refund or exchange. While a small number of consumers have reported finding the plastic pieces, we have not received any reports of injury or illness associated with the affected product.
